Buffalo River Fest Park

Buffalo River Fest Park, a 3-acre park opened in 2011 and is situated at 249 Ohio Street on the Buffalo River. It was former vacant industrial site which was littered with contaminated debris, high weeds, broken fences, curbs and sidewalks. The park now features a boardwalk along the Buffalo River, interpretive signs, a pergola, benches, walkways, a band shell, a wharf out over the river and lush gardens.

This beautifully landscaped park offers the public an area to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Buffalo River while celebrating the rich history of the area. Events and activities are offered including, but not limited to, free concerts every Wednesday from May through September, Buffalo River Festival, July 3 rd Family Independence Eve Celebration, Easter Egg Hunts, German Fest, etc.

Please check calendar for events. Buffalo River Fest Park, the first development on Ohio Street was the driving force for the redevelopment along the Buffalo River and the Ohio Street Corridor.
